Where is my work saved?
When signed in, records and settings are saved privately in GenMB’s built-in key-value store. Signed-out AI drafts remain in the current session. Demo samples are never saved automatically.
Does NOVA use real AI?
Yes. The assistant, creation studio, study tools, and idea exploration call GenMB’s built-in AI. Responses are labeled AI-generated. Live web search is not active on this plan; review factual information before relying on it.
Can NOVA use my knowledge?
Select notes and a project in the assistant’s Context dialog. Their text is provided as reference material, and NOVA is instructed to distinguish sources from general knowledge. This is selected-text context, not an automatic document retrieval index.
What do the analytics measure?
Analytics exclude demo samples. Task completion comes from saved task statuses; activity charts use recorded completion timestamps, study sessions, and habit check-in dates. Project progress is computed from linked tasks.
How do flashcards and quizzes work?
Choose a subject in Study Hub and generate an exercise. Flashcards reveal answers on request. Short-answer quizzes let you compare your response with an AI-generated explanation; they are self-reviewed, not automatically graded. Save material to keep it.
Are attachments private?
No. GenMB file storage is public. Only upload non-sensitive material after acknowledging the warning. Private note text is protected by account scope. Files are not automatically extracted or indexed.
Can I export my data or install an Android app?
Settings exports your loaded records as JSON, and Creation Studio exports Markdown. This version is a responsive web app, not an Android APK. It does not claim native installation or offline support.
How can I run or deploy the source?
The project includes a README with setup and deployment guidance. Run npm install and npm run dev to develop the Vite app. GenMB injects its SDKs at runtime; authenticated persistence and AI need the GenMB environment. Use the editor’s Publish flow when ready.
